We have developed various organic fluorescent materials that exhibit intense emission in the solid states such as crystal, neat thin film, power, and thin film dispersed in polymer.  The emission colors ranging from blue to red can be tuned by choosing appropriate molecular structure and its modification.  Examples of the strong photoluminescence are shown in the Figure below.
