Abstracts
The patent invention related to methods for enhancing the effector activity of antibodies, modified antibodies with strong effector activity, and methods for producing the antibodies. More specifically, the present invention related to methods for enhancing ADCC activity, which is a major effector activity, modified antibodies having a strong ADCC activity, and methods for producing the antibodies.A modified antibody which a plurality of Fc domains are tandemly linked to the heavy chain C terminus and a modified antibody in which Fc domains are tandemly linked through a spacer are produced, and the affinity, CDC activity, ADCC activity against an Fc receptor were measured.  Although it has been reported that even if a plurality of Fc domains were linked, the CDC activity was not enhanced, the modified antibody of the invention exhibited an enhanced ADCC activity.  According to the method of the present invention, it becomes possible to provide an antibody preparation having a high therapeutic effect.

Advantages
Nowadays "antibody drug" has a problem with its high cost.  However there are two possible solutions; reducing the production costs or increasing bioactivity. The present invention succeeded in increasing bioactivity and uses unique methods that are different from invention of Kyowa Hakko Kirin Co., Ltd.
