Novel Z-scheme type visible light active photocatalyst system for perfectly decomposing water and water perfectly decomposing method using the same
Next Generation Energy, the photocatalytic hydrogen production

Field
     Chemistry, Clean energy technology

Keywords
Photocatalyst, Oxidation-reduction (REDOX), Fe Compounds, Water decomposition

Advantages
As an effect of the invention, a Pt/SrTiO3:Rh-WO3 system, Pt/SrTiO3:. A Rh-BiVO4 system. And the quantum yield of appearance [ in / in Z-scheme type visible light water perfect decomposition type catalyst system constituted using the Fe compound which forms the catalyst of a Pt/SrTiO3:Rh-Bi2MoO6 system, and a Fe3+/Fe2+ redox system / 440 nm ], It reaches to 0.2%, 0.3%, and 0.2%, respectively, and can mention that the perfect decomposition reaction to hydrogen and oxygen of efficient water under a visible light exposure has been built.

Abstracts
To provide a Z-scheme type visible light active photocatalyst system using Fe<SP>3+</SP>/Fe<SP>2+</SP>redox system..The Z-scheme type visible light active photocatalyst system comprises a combination photocatalyst system composed of at least one oxygen forming photocatalyst selected from a WO<SB>3</SB>system, a BiVO<SB>4</SB>system and a Bi<SB>2</SB>MoO<SB>6</SB>system and a hydrogen forming photocatalyst of Pt/SrTiO<SB>3</SB>:Rh. An Fe compound for forming the Fe<SP>3+</SP>/Fe<SP>2+</SP>redox system constituting the Z-scheme type visible light active photocatalyst system is allowed to be present in the combination photocatalyst system.
